PDP and Kwankwasiyya stalwart, Dadiyata was not Arrested by DSS

The initial reports that operatives of the Department of State Security Service (SSS) popularly referred to as DSS have arrested Abubakar Idriss, popularly known as Abu Hanifa Dadiyata in his Kaduna residence was not true.



Earlier statement released by the spokesperson to the 2019 PDP governorship candidate for Kano State, Abba Yusuf called on the SSS to release Mr Dadiyata unhurt and without any condition.

The statement read in part “Report reaching us has confirmed that heavily armed security personnel believed to be operatives of the DSS have arrested Abubakar Idriss, popularly known as Abu Hanifa Dadiyata in his Kaduna residence last night.

“Dadiyata is the leading social media activist in Twitter community that protects and projects Kwankwasiyya ideology and the PDP in northern Nigeria,”

But Publisher of Daily Nigerian an online Newspaper, Jafar Jafar said that Dadiyata was not arrested by the DSS as he had spoken with the Kaduna state Director of DSS and he said Dadiyata was not in their Custody.
